This pattern pack includes a booklet of how to make the basic square used to make each of these pieces, tips on thread sizes, and other hints. Each of the 5 patterns is printed separately so you can remove just the one you are working on. Color pictures and diagrams will help you make each mini quilt. They all are printed book style and are printed front and back. The cover comes with a color photgraph. Everything is then put in a plastic zip closed bag. It comes just like my doll patterns.
I used DMC threads for these mini quilts and have the thread colors listed in each pattern's material list. Have fun and use colors, sizes, and threads other than DMC. There is a chart in the basic directions booklet to help you figure out the finished size depending on the thread size.
You will need at least 2 shuttles for these mini quilts. My suggestion is to use Areo shuttles with extra bobbins or a similar shuttle with bobbins. If you prefer shuttles with picks you will want to have more than 2 to avoid winding and unwinding when working with the threads. I used 2 bobbins for each color or thread.
There are directions on how I finished/displayed each tatted quilt. The largest, Trip Around the World, is sewn to a pillow top. Others are made into jewelry, a note card, gift bag, wall hanging, artist trading card, and even a gift tag.
