Trick or Tweet Pin-Keep
I love pin-keeps, especially Halloween and bird pin-keeps. I love how this particular pin-keep turned out. I combined my love of Halloween with my love of birds and wa-lah! This pin-keep is made from wool, both plain orange and a hounds tooth plaid. The little bird on top is made from muslin and has a needle sculpted face with quilted wings. The pin-keep is mounted on top of a vintage zinc jar lid and has an ink stamped tag stitched to the front that says “TRICK OR TWEET”. A small skeleton key has been added to add to the rustic look. The little black bird is holding a single candy corn that has been made from clay.
