Felt Wynter Snowmen Tree Toppers hcs
Make a 10" - 11" primitve or country snowman for your tree or to display standing. Another great way to display them is to slip them over a short candle in a great candle holder. That way you don't have to have a tree up to display your snowman. They are great all winter long! There are 2 sizes of snowmen. The smaller one wears the red hat in the picture.
The bodies are made of felt over an empty thread cone. The cone is covered with fabric and the snowman body is sewn to that.
The snowman dressed in blue flannel has black facet beads for the eyes and mouth and the nose is a felt carrot.
The ecru snowman is an angel. Instead of a hat it wears ear muffs and a halo. The wings are sewn from cotton fabric. The eyes are buttons and the mouth is embroidered.
The smaller snowman is dressed in felt, has an embroidered mouth with tiny bead eyes. Large french knots also work for his tiny eyes.
The directions go step-by-step and have drawings for some of the steps. Unlike most of my patterns this one doesn't have photos in the directions, only the one on the cover.
The directions are printed book style with 8 pages printed front and back. There are 5 pages of full size patterns. The only ones not included are large rectangles. The cover has a color photgraph and it all comes in a zip closed plastic bag.
