The Olde Crow
My love for crows and ravens has carried over to my love of Halloween, with this new creation! She is truly an awesome spectacle her rather large and twisty beak and beady eyes (heh heh). This old girl is somewhat inspired by the Halloween art of the '50's and a lot from my warped imagination. She is mounted onto a painted pedestal. She has a bent and distorted body, which goes well with that twisted and bent nose.
Olde Crow is made from painted and "HEAVILY" distressed muslin. Her dress is a black cotton fabric trimmed with an aged ruffle and has a dyed osnaburg apron. The Ol' girl is carrying her favorite broom and a wool pumpkin to help with a spell, instructions for both are in the pattern. Her hat is painted and distressed. The Olde Crow measures 20" tall.
