Sheep Girl Dolls Pattern - 3 sizes of sheep great for Easter! 5hcs

Add this item to the wish list

With 3 sizes of sheep to choose from, you can make your own flock! These are a perfect Easter decoration or for anytime of the year. The larger one is so cute hanging on a door, while the smaller ones are great to tuck into baskets and sit on shelves.

The smallest is 6" and is perfect for either of the larger ones to hold. The black sheep and the muslin sheep in green are 10". The largest sheep is 14". They all have a small piece of fake fleece or Kumin fuzzy felt on their heads. This is optional and you can leave it off. They all have the same face but the one in green was done with markers while the rest were embroidered. You can embroider, paint or use markers for the faces. Do whatever you like.

The large sheep has an appliqued and embroidered apron. The sheep on her apron are made of felt with pearl cotton french knots. Bo Peep is done in the Sunbonnet Sue style with no face showing. Her hat is decorated with embroidery but you can sew on tiny silk flowers and leaves. There are full directions for the embroidery but you should know how to embroider and how to applique. I found a great fabric with the sky and trees but you can paint a similar background for your apron or use green for the skirt and light blue for the top. Her clothing includes the apron, dress, and pantaloons. Ribbon bows at her ears complete her clothing.

The 10" muslin sheep in green has pantaloons, dress, and an apron. Fabric yo-yos decorate her clothing. Directions for making them are included. She is perfect to tea stain for a more primitive look. Be careful if you decide to tea stain her. Wait to do the face until after she is tea stained to avoid the marker or paint running.

The sheep in blue has a pinafore style apron and a jumpsuit edged with narrow lace and ribbon. Since she is black I used ecru embroidery floss for the eyes so they would show.

The tiny sheep has a dress, pantaloons, and her apron is the corner of a hankie. You could use any scrap of lace for the apron, too.

The directions are printed book style on 24 lb. paper, printed on both sides. There are color photos and line drawings through out the pattern and plenty of hints to help you. The cover comes with a color photograph glued to it. There are 10 pages of full size patterns. Not included are large rectangles, just measurements are given. Each pattern comes in a zip closed plastic bag.
