Americana Folkart and Primitive Black Uncle Sam & Liberty Doll Make-Do-SPPO Liberty & Justice
Uniquely original and great for the Patriotic season this Americana black Uncle Sam & Liberty doll make-do will be a wonderful additon and nestled in with your patriotic decor.
Liberty and Justice are accented with vintage style tinsel garland and have painted eyes and lips, raw flax hair and needle sculpted nose and hands painted to give the illusion of gloves. Together they hold a painted and stained white wool felt star that is accented with a painted wool felt star medallion and grubbied up red tinsel. Liberty and Justice will measure approximately 19 inches tall when completed. However height will vary based on spool or base used for finished piece.
The pattern will come complete with detailed instructions to make Uncle Sam & Liberty, their hat and crown, star/banner and my painting and staining technique. Also included is a list of supplies where most items can be found and 2 detail photos.
The flags are not included with the pattern, but can be purchased separately.
NOTE: The vintage style tinsel garland and vintage mill spool used in this pattern is available for purchase in a separate listing. Please keep in mind when ordering the mill spool, they will vary slightly in style and color tone as they are old and one of a kind!
