Extreme Primitive Little Black Slave Girl and Her Paper Dolls Pattern

This is a Nanny Norton Prims original design.
This wonderful doll was inspired Alex Haley's novel ""Queen". I love reading about the south and the Civil War and have been fascinated with the social structure in those days. I especially find it interesting how the children fit into society in those days. This is my version of a little slave doll and what she might look like if her mother put her together with scraps from the house. She would have been made with love and included like toys that the little girls of that day might have played with.
Amelia is approx. 16 inches tall when she is finished. She is an easy doll to make and I am sure you will fall in love with her when you are done.
Pattern includes easy directions for making doll, clothes and cut outs. You will want to make one for yourself and that special friend.
Happy crafting with a smile !!!!!!!!
