Primitive Candy Cane Ornies
These painted ornies are so easy and fun to make and don't require painting experience! I wanted some large onasburg/muslin candy canes to decorate the garland on my staircase banister & this is what I came up with. The large cane measures 3" wide by 9-1/2" long & the small cane for tree hanging or bowl fillers is 2-3/4" by 5-1/4" long. The large ones are shown in the pic above and are great for hanging on a fireplace, garland, or wreath display! My pattern has some color pics with the directions, is in a PDF format, and requires Adobe Acrobat to view.
