Elsbeth Potter (Mistress of Korn)
The Kandy Korn Festival is just around the corner. It is the biggest event to come to this area and Elsbeth Potter isn't wasting any time in campaigning for the regal title of Mistress of Korn! With this title comes many privileges, especially having your weight in the sweet goodness of kandy korn....Hmmmmmm! Of course Elsbeth's favorite part is the dressing up and the pageantry of it all! She is, after all, a cat of extreme taste!
Elsbeth Potter is a made from painted and distressed muslin and measures 18' tall. She has a stitched and painted face. Her candy corn eye is painted and stitched on with large uneven stitches. Her whiskers are dyed sisal fibers. Elsbeth has a large painted candy corn stitched to her belly. The corn and the rest of her body have been waxed which adds a nice aged look. Her hat is stiffened black felt with a distressed look and her collar is dyed flannel with rusty bells attached to each point. Elsbeth has a thread loop on her back, which makes it easy to hang her from your door, wall, cupboard or just about anywhere.
