Larry the Spider
Larry the spider wears many hats but today he has chosen the Hat of Distinction. He is a busy little fellow trying to get his goodies bag ready for the biggest of treat holidays - Halloween! It's always hard for a young spider to get the right proportions of one's web, but he is a hard worker with a special goal in mind.
Larry the spider is made from black felt and ivory wool felt. His head is painted muslin with a painted and stitched face. He has rusty wire legs that are holding onto the beginnings of a very promising goodies bag.
Larry is mounted on top of a very prim pumpkin, made from wool felt and flannel fabric with black cross stitching along the seams. The pumpkin is mounted on top of a distressed pedestal and has the auspicious day embroidered on the front in black.
