Flowers For Mother Quilted Table Runner
This quilt is part foundation paper pieced and part pieced!
The runner measures a generous 69" by 23"
10" Flower blocks are totally paper pieced!
Hate those pesky Y seams but just love the Brides Bouquet pattern?! I took the pattern of the Brides Bouquet and drafted into a Paper Piecing pattern! No more Y seams! If you enjoy paper piecing then this block and quilt are for you. The 4 Mothers Flowers blocks are foundation paper pieced* and the rest of the quilt is regular piecing.
*Some knowledge of paper piecing is required to complete the paper pieced blocks.
The block is 10" square and the quilt is a generous 23" by 69" This quilt is fast and can be made in a weekend!
The block can also be used to make a full sized quilt. This is an easy block to make and looks great in various fabrics including 30's and 40's reproductions with a muslin background.
This is an advanced beginner project!
