FWP Punch Needle Sheep and Quilt Block 1867 #107
Two of my favourite subjects - sheep and quilt blocks. I have used a prim sheep set against an Ohio star quilt block with further inserts of the Ohio star.
A wonderful needle punch pattern using Valdani threads, which are also available on my website as a kit. Pattern does contain a DMC conversion chart. The finished piece can be framed, inserted on a pillow or purse, set on a box or used as a small hooked rug for the doll house enthusiasts out there. Finished rug measures 4-1/2 x 5-1/2 and uses 6 different balls of cotton hand dyed threads giving the piece that aged look.
Also included in the pattern is an 8-1/2x11 paper pattern for rug hooking that you can size yourself.
